A CALIFORNIA BUILDER.
I started in this trade in my twenties, framing houses across the Inland Empire. I learned the work the only way worth learning it — on site, with crews who didn't tolerate shortcuts.
By 2015 I was licensed, running my own projects. In 2018 I formalized HMM Construction around a simple idea: keep the operation small enough that I'm on every project, and big enough to handle ground-up residential and commercial work.
San Bernardino County is home. I know the soil, the seismic code, the plan check departments in every city from Fontana to Yucaipa. When I take a project, I'm not figuring it out — I've already built it ten times.
That's the offer. Fifteen years of California construction, a licensed crew, and a name on the job.

2010
BREAKING GROUND
Hevelio Marquez begins working in California construction — framing, concrete, and residential remodels across the Inland Empire.
2015
GENERAL CONTRACTING
Licensed general contractor status. First full ground-up residential build completed in San Bernardino County.
2018
HMM CONSTRUCTION
HMM Construction is formally established. Focus on owner-operated residential and commercial work across Southern California.
2022
COMMERCIAL EXPANSION
Expanded into commercial tenant improvement and retail buildouts across Los Angeles and Ontario.
2024
FULL-SCOPE OPERATION
Nine trade specialties in-house. Team of licensed crews running projects from Victorville to Inglewood.
